Languages of the East: The Non-Western Manuscript Book Collection of UO Libraries Special Collections & University Archives was curated by Special Projects Cataloger, Zoey Kambour, MA in History of Art and Architecture from the University of Oregon, and overseen by David de Lorenzo, Giustina Director of Special Collections. Exhibit design and data entry into SpotLight, an open-source software created by Stanford University, was completed by Special Projects Archivist, Alexandra Mueller.

Digital exhibit production services were coordinated by Nathan Georgitis, Archivist for Digital Collections. Randy Sullivan, Digital Production Manager at UO Libraries, Digital Scholarship Services, created digital images of the manuscript books and single leaves following FADGI Guidelines. Sarah Seymore, Digital Collections Metadata Librarian, processed the metadata and published the images used in the exhibit onto Oregon Digital, a Samvera-based platform for image presentation, search and discovery.

Most of the manuscript books were acquired by donation from Edward Sandford Burgess. The leaves have been acquired either by donation or purchase over several decades. The Asian items form a part of the Gertrude Bass Warner collection. The cuneiform were acquired through donation and purchase. All items displayed in this exhibit are fully catalogued and more detailed information about each item can be found in the Library's online catalog:
