Work and Publications
The genius of Will H. Bradley was unfortunately inseparable from emotional toll. At the height of his career, Bradley experienced a significant breakdown as a result of stress from overwork and exhaustion. He assumed nearly all responsibility for the management of his personal publishing firm, the Wayside Press, and in this assumption of responsibility, neglected many aspects of his own health. The stress manifested in his body through malaise and ailment, until it reached a peaking point where Bradley succumbed to the stress plaguing him, and collapsed. Bradley was particularly ambitious, establishing himself as an artistic force to be reckoned with. This dedication and devotion was reflected significantly not only through the highly distinguished points of his career, but through the sunsetting years of his later life (Bambace, 1995).
