Two Leaves From a Book of Muhammad's Prayers

Framed in a richly illuminate foliate border of gold, blue, green and red, the text comes from one of the prayers of Muhammad from the hadith. A hadith consists of the accounts of words, deeds, or silent approval of Muhammad during the period of his preaching. The primary text loosely translates to: “Lord, I am fighting with you, and I am trying with you.”
