DESCRIPTION

Construction began May 2019. Completion expected fall 2019. Opening date: Spring 2020.The Skybridge crosses Franklin Boulevard to connect the science complex with the Knight Campus. It will rise 35 feet above the street level with the structure being approximately 50 feet high at its peak. The skybridge will be constructed with a structural steel frame that uses two butterfly arches and suspension cables. It will open in 2020 to coincide with the formal opening of the Knight Campus. Part of the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact.
