DESCRIPTION
Also called Student Health Services and other names, this building opened in 1966. It replaced the 1936 Infirmary (now Volcanology) designed by Ellis F. Lawrence as the campus health center. Its arched façade relates aesthetically to both the Museum of Art of the historic campus and the newer residential areas. The architectural firm BOOR/A developed to expand and renovate the facility with a groundbreaking in 2005. The expansion will add 48,000 square feet and cost approximately $10 million.
